"The Rococo Era Typography was a particular style that emerged in 18th-century France, as a sort of reaction and disapproval of the serious Baroque period. Styles moved away from formal to light and more natural in its visual complexity. Designs became curvilinear and decorative. The style highly resembled the life of a monarch, the lavish lifestyle with ornamental themes. The production for this style was by using copperplate engravings and using the work of calligraphic masters who created cards to showcase their talents. However, as the upper class kept the Rococo era flourishing, they were unaware of the poor living conditions in Europe."
This design was focused on typography during colonization and industrialization. The font I chose is Alana, and my theme was Rococo Art. I mostly chose this font for its calligraphic style and its rough edges. I created my sketches on Photoshop and then traced them on Illustrator. I added a rococo-like design to the background to bring the composition together.
